The first title carries a playful edge; its companion offers a gentler counterpoint in name, giving the pairing its own little conversation. Gray was a soul singer, and that tradition has always made room for both assured groove and relaxed, unhurried warmth. Capricorn Records issued the release as CPS 0259, placing it in the decade when soul and disco were finding plenty of common ground. The contrast between these titles keeps the single’s story open-ended, with Gray at its centre.

Label: Capricorn Records
Catno: CPS 0259
Year: 1976
Genre: Funk / Soul
Style: Disco, Soul
Country: United States
Artist country: United States
Media condition: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Sleeve condition: Generic

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1064/0788/7187/files/wm_sb12674_side_a_dobie_gray_find_em_fool_em_forget_em.jpg?v=1793835987
