john-miles-slowdown-slowdown-zf28972
John Miles - Slowdown / Slowdown

“Slowdown” opens the door to John Miles’s blend of pop-rock, soul and disco, where the pleasures of a strong song meet the pull of the dance floor. The title returns on the other side, giving this release a neat thread through a period when pop music readily borrowed the movement of funk and soul without leaving its melodic instincts behind. Miles is a singer-songwriter, and that meeting of songcraft and groove makes a natural home for his work. Issued by London as 5N-20092-DJ in 1976, this United States promotional copy carries the markings “PROMOTION COPY” and “NOT FOR SALE.”.

Label: London
Catno: 5N-20092-DJ
Year: 1976
Genre: Funk / Soul, Pop, Rock
Style: Disco, Pop Rock
Country: United States
Artist country: United Kingdom
Media condition: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Sleeve condition: Company Sleeve

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1064/0788/7187/files/wm_zf28972_side_a_john_miles_slowdown.jpg?v=1793150193
