Reuben Howell brings that tradition to “Constant Disappointment,” a title that appears on both sides of this 1974 single. The repeated name gives the record a quiet insistence, keeping attention on the song itself rather than turning it into a story about anything beyond its title. Issued by Motown as M 13-35F A, this American pressing connects Howell’s release to a label closely associated with soul. The title’s plainspoken weight is its own invitation to listen closely.

Label: Motown
Catno: M 13-35F A
Year: 1974
Genre: Funk / Soul
Style: Soul
Country: United States
Artist country: United States
Media condition: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Sleeve condition: Generic

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1064/0788/7187/files/wm_zb29654_side_a_reuben_howell_constant_disappointment.jpg?v=1793558605
