The same title appears on both sides: “Theme From “Battlestar Galactica””. Phillips, a composer, works here in the screen-music tradition, where a theme has to establish a world quickly and remain connected to it wherever the story goes. Disco adds another strand to that tradition, turning the theme into a single designed for the dance-floor era without losing its link to the series. Released as MCA-40970, this United States pressing keeps its focus on one unmistakable piece of television music: a theme made to carry the name of its show.

Label: Mca Records
Catno: MCA-40970
Year: 1978
Genre: Electronic, Stage & Screen
Style: Disco, Theme
Country: United States
Artist country: United States
Media condition: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Sleeve condition: Company Sleeve

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1064/0788/7187/files/wm_xa15494_side_a_stu_phillips_theme_from_battlestar_galactica.jpg?v=1794034161
https://waxer.eu/products/stu-phillips-theme-from-battlestar-galactica-theme-from-battlestar-galactica-xa15494
