Blonde On Blonde / Subway - Summer Love / Blonde On Blonde

Description
A little disco sparkle goes a long way. This 1977 UK single brings together two names, Blonde On Blonde and Subway, with a title that turns up on both sides in different pairings: Blonde On Blonde’s “Summer Love” and Subway’s “Blonde On Blonde.” That playful exchange gives the record its own small twist, while its disco setting calls up a tradition built for the dancefloor, where a steady pulse and a bright, direct hook can make a song feel instantly welcoming. Issued on Chrysalis as CHS 2158, it captures a moment when electronic textures and disco’s open-hearted dance energy could meet in a compact pop single.
