The Blow Monkeys - Digging Your Scene (U.K. Mix) / Digging Your Scene (U.S. Mix)

Description
On one side, The Blow Monkeys offer “Digging Your Scene (U.K. Mix)”; turn the record over and the same title returns as “Digging Your Scene (U.S. Mix).” The paired versions make this 1986 single a small study in how a song can travel through different mixes while keeping its name and identity intact. Synth-pop often brought electronic textures into pop’s direct, song-led tradition, and that meeting gives this release its place in the era’s musical landscape. Issued on Rca as PB-14325, this USA pressing preserves both versions on a compact 7-inch single. The two mix titles mark the record’s defining distinction.
