Bobby Powell - The Bells (Inst.) / The Bells

Description
The instrumental “The Bells (Inst.)” and “The Bells” make a natural pair, setting the same title in two distinct forms. Bobby Powell brings the release into soul’s rich tradition, where a song can leave room for the voice and still stand on its own without it. This 7-inch single comes from Whit as WHIT 6907, pressed in the USA. The pairing offers a small but satisfying invitation to notice how an arrangement can carry a song’s identity, while the vocal version places that identity in a different light. Both titles remain together here, a neat reminder that soul can make space for voice and instrumental alike.
