Fiebre Amarilla - Maria De La Guia / La Avispa

Description
Fiebre Amarilla brings two titles together on a 1982 single that sits at the crossroads of funk, soul, Afro rock and tropical pop. “Maria De La Guia” takes one side, while “La Avispa” turns the record over to its second title; together, they invite a little curiosity about the musical paths gathered under that broad, lively mix. Funk and soul thrive on rhythmic interplay, while Afro rock and tropical styles open the door to a wider palette of dance music. Issued by Profono Internacional Inc. as 79-136, this USA pressing keeps the focus on Fiebre Amarilla and the two names at its heart.
