Waters - I Just Wanna Be The One (In Your Life) / I Just Wanna Be The One (In Your Life)

Description
The 1977 7-inch single gives “I Just Wanna Be The One (In Your Life)” both sides, a title that puts devotion right at the center of the record. Waters brings it into the world of funk and soul, where disco’s steady pulse offered a way to make romantic feeling move with the body as well as the heart. That blend of groove and direct emotion is part of what makes the tradition so enduring: a dance floor can hold tenderness, too. Issued by Warner Bros. Records as WBS 8437, this United States pressing keeps the song’s promise plain and memorable—one person, one wish, and a life imagined together.
