Jesus Valencia - Pajarillo Pajarillo / El Pequenito

Description
Mariachi carries its stories in a way that feels both intimate and open-hearted, with a long tradition of songs shared from one voice to another. On this 1981 single, Jesus Valencia brings that tradition to “Pajarillo Pajarillo” on one side and “El Pequenito” on the other, two titles that sit together without needing the same story. Luna Records issued it as L-257 in the USA, a small, direct release rooted in the enduring language of mariachi. The music’s lasting appeal lies in how a familiar form can make room for each singer’s own presence, while keeping its connection to a living tradition.
