La Tropa Loca - Un Sueño / Todos Iguales

Description
La Tropa Loca bring a pop-rock touch to the Latin music tradition on this 1973 Mexican single, pairing “Un Sueño” with “Todos Iguales.” Latin pop has long made room for the direct energy of rock while keeping melody at its heart, and that meeting gives this release an inviting place in the story. The titles stand as distinct parts of the record, with no need to dress them up in guesses: their contrast is already a reason to spend time with the pairing. Issued by Capitol as catalog number 7330 M-3987, it reflects a moment when Latin pop and rock could share common ground without losing their own character.
