Donnie Elbert / The Al Mclears - Do What You Gotta Do / Walk In The Night

Description
Donnie Elbert and The Al Mclears meet on a Soul single that sets two distinct credits side by side. Elbert was a soul singer, and “Do What You Gotta Do” places his name within a tradition where a voice carries a song’s emotional weight. “Walk In The Night” brings The Al Mclears into the same conversation, with its own title and credit intact. Soul music has long made room for personal feeling and direct expression, qualities that give this pairing a natural point of connection without making the artists interchangeable. Released by Soul as catalog number 35095F, this United States 7-inch preserves both names and songs together.
