Los Rogers / Los Potros - R-1 / Amor De Pobre

Description
This Mexican 7-inch single brings Los Rogers and Los Potros together, with “R-1” on one side and “Amor De Pobre” on the other. The pairing sits where norteño and corrido traditions meet the punch of rock and roll: music rooted in regional storytelling and dance rhythms, with an open door to electric sounds. Los Rogers’ “R-1” keeps its title spare, while Los Potros offer the more expansive “Amor De Pobre.” The record was issued by Laser as LS/1154 P86. Its two artist credits make the contrast part of the appeal: distinct names sharing one small slice of Mexican popular music.
