The 4 Seasons - I've Cried Before / Sherry

Description
“I've Cried Before” and “Sherry” bring two sides of The 4 Seasons together on this 7-inch single: a title that looks back, paired with one that has become part of the group’s familiar catalogue. Their doo-wop and pop-rock setting draws on a long-loved pop tradition, where close vocal harmonies and a strong sense of melody give a song its shape. Released on Vee Jay as VEE JAY #456, this record sits at the meeting point of doo-wop, rock and roll, and pop. It’s a reminder of how enduring the craft of a sharply defined vocal-group song can be.
