Al Johnston - Night Wind / This Ole Hammer

Description
Al Johnston brings “Night Wind” and “This Ole Hammer” together on a 7-inch single, pairing two distinctly named songs without needing a grand premise to draw you in. Folk traditions often thrive on directness: a voice, a memorable tune, and words carried from one person to another. Rock & roll gives that plainspoken impulse a lively edge, making room for songs that feel rooted yet ready to move. Issued on Mean as catalog number 2821, this release sits where those traditions meet. Its appeal lies in that meeting: folk’s enduring closeness and rock & roll’s knack for turning a simple song into a shared moment.
