Alan O'day - Just You / Undercover Angel

Description
Alan O'day brings two sides of late-’70s pop-soul charm to this 1977 single. “Just You” shares the release with “Undercover Angel,” a pairing that places a personal touch alongside the era’s easy movement between pop, rock, funk and soul. That mix has a particular warmth: pop keeps the melodies close, while soul and funk lend the music a supple pulse and rock adds a little edge. The single was issued in the United States on Pacific Records, catalog number PC-001. At its heart is the pleasure of a compact song built to meet listeners where they are, with melody and feeling at the center.
