Alegres De Teran - Al Pie De La Tumba / La Borrachera

Description
Falcon’s 1973 single, catalog number 2003, brings Alegres De Teran to the heart of a tradition where corridos, norteño and ranchera carry stories through song. “Al Pie De La Tumba” and “La Borrachera” give this release its two named songs, each title rooted in the vivid, direct language often found across Mexican regional music. Corridos have long made room for accounts of hardship, people and events, while ranchera and norteño bring their own expressive ways of telling and singing. Together, those traditions make a compact single feel connected to a much larger world of musical storytelling, one kept alive through songs passed from voice to voice.
