Alegres De Teran - El Meneito / Falsa Moneda

Description
Alegres De Teran bring the dance-floor promise of “El Meneito” to a tradition where the pulse of regional Mexican music can carry a story as surely as a melody. Corrido, norteño and ranchera each make room for vivid feeling and a strong sense of place, and this single sits comfortably in that rich musical landscape. The flip side, “Falsa Moneda,” adds another title to follow across the record’s two moods. Issued by Falcon as 45-461, this USA pressing connects listeners with a style shaped by storytelling, rhythm and the close bond between song and community. Those traditions keep their meaning in every generation.
