Alondra - No Sigas Mintiendo / Olvidame Y Pega La Vuelta

Description
Alondra’s “No Sigas Mintiendo” shares this 1983 single with “Olvidame Y Pega La Vuelta,” bringing two Spanish-language titles together in the intimate world of the pop ballad. There’s a particular pleasure in a song that takes its time: ballads give melody and feeling room to meet, letting a direct phrase linger rather than rush toward the next turn. That tradition is the right setting for this pairing, where the titles themselves suggest a conversation between honesty and letting go without needing to spell out the songs’ stories. Issued on Raff as RF 7558, this USA pressing carries a small, vivid meeting of pop and ballad form.
