B.T. Express - Peace Pipe / Give It What You Got

Description
Funk has always made room for both discipline and release: a tight pulse gives the players something to push against, while the groove keeps opening out. B.T. Express brings that spirit to this 1975 single, with “Peace Pipe” on one side and “Give It What You Got” on the other. The titles sit neatly together, suggesting two different invitations without needing to spell out their musical character. Issued on Roadshow as RD 7003, this American pressing belongs to the lively meeting point of funk and disco, where rhythm is the storyteller and a good groove can carry a whole record.
