Bay City Rollers - I Only Want To Be With You / Write A Letter

Description
“I Only Want To Be With You” opens a bright little window onto the Bay City Rollers’ pop-rock world, where a familiar love song becomes part of the great pop tradition of making affection feel immediate and singable. Then “Write A Letter” turns the page, keeping the focus on connection through a simple, enduring gesture. The Scottish group’s name became closely associated with youthful pop, but the appeal here lies in the directness of the songs: clear titles, a strong sense of romance, and no need for elaborate storytelling. Issued by Arista as AS 0205 in 1976, this United States pressing carries two concise invitations to reach out.
