Billy Joe Royal - Cherry Hill Park / Helping Hand

Description
“Cherry Hill Park” opens a small window onto the bright, story-minded side of pop rock, where a title can set a scene and a tune can carry it along. Billy Joe Royal brings the song into focus, while “Helping Hand” gives the pairing a second point of connection: a reminder that pop songs often find their warmth in everyday gestures as much as grand declarations. Issued by Columbia as 4-44902, this single sits comfortably in a tradition built on concise melodies and direct storytelling. Its two titles invite a listener to follow the thread from one scene to the next, with the songs themselves doing the talking.
