Billy Vaughn / Billy Vaughn With Orchestra - The Shifting Whispering Sands Part 1 / The Shifting Whispering Sands Part 2

Description
Billy Vaughn’s “The Shifting Whispering Sands Part 1” meets “The Shifting Whispering Sands Part 2,” credited to Billy Vaughn With Orchestra, in a two-part ballad shaped by the gentle storytelling tradition of spoken-word pop. Rather than treating the sides as interchangeable, the release gives each its own clear place in the unfolding tale, with the orchestral credit marking a distinction worth keeping intact. Issued in the USA as a 7-inch single on Dot, catalog number 45-15409, it sits at the crossroads of light music and narrative song. The pairing invites a listener to follow the story across both parts, where spoken word and melody share the work of telling it.
