Blue Mink - Melting Pot / But Not Forever

Description
There’s a lively tension at the heart of pop rock: songs can reach for a broad, communal feeling and still keep their edges. Blue Mink bring that spirit to “Melting Pot,” a title that suggests people and ideas coming together, while “But Not Forever” offers a striking counterpoint in its words alone. The pairing makes this single an inviting entry into the group’s world, where pop’s directness meets the weight and drive of rock. Issued by Philips as 40658 1-45079, it places Blue Mink’s two songs side by side without asking them to tell the same story. Pop rock thrives on that kind of contrast.
