Bobby Vinton - Careless / Satin Pillows

Description
Bobby Vinton brings a singer’s touch to two titles that take different paths across this Epic single, 5-9869. “Careless” sits on one side, with “Satin Pillows” on the other; their names offer a glimpse of the varied language pop can use, from plainspoken to softly suggestive, without needing to pin either song to a story. Vocal pop has long made room for the personality of the voice, balancing a memorable melody with an intimate sense of address. Vinton’s name anchors this pairing in that tradition, where a singer can make a compact song feel like a direct conversation, one side at a time.
