Bodeans - Closer To Free / Closer To Free

Description
Pop rock often finds its spark in the meeting of a strong melody and a chorus built to travel, and Bodeans bring that directness to “Closer To Free.” The title appears on both sides here, giving the song the whole stage rather than setting it against another track. There’s a lovely piece of pop tradition in that kind of focus: one memorable idea, allowed to stand on its own and make its way into the world. This 1993 seven-inch single pairs the song with the Slash release details, catalog number 7-17674. Bodeans’ name and “Closer To Free” are the heart of this compact release.
