Carpenters - Sandy / I Need To Be In Love

Description
Carpenters bring a tender sense of intimacy to this 1976 single, where the small, direct scale of pop becomes a way to make a feeling feel close at hand. “Sandy” shares the release with “I Need To Be In Love,” giving the two titles space to stand on their own rather than crowding one another into a single story. Vocal pop often finds its strength in clarity: a melody and a voice can carry emotional detail without needing grand gestures. Issued by A&M Records as catalog number 1828-S, this United States 7-inch single captures the lasting appeal of songs built around human feeling and an unforced connection.
