Charley Pride - A Place For The Lonesome / I'm Just Me

Description
Charley Pride brings the plainspoken heart of country music to this 7-inch single, where loneliness and self-knowledge meet in two concise titles. “A Place For The Lonesome” gives the feeling of being left out in the cold a name, while “I’m Just Me” turns toward the steady comfort of accepting oneself. Country songs have long made room for both kinds of truth: the ache that needs a companion, and the conviction to stand as you are. Pride’s country setting gives these songs a natural home, with their direct words at the center. Rca Victor issued the single as catalog number 47-9996, pressed in the USA.
