Charlie Feldman - Ready, Willing And Achin' / Ready, Willing And Achin'

Description
A 7-inch single, Charlie Feldman’s “Ready, Willing And Achin'” appears on both sides, giving this country-rock release a title that wears its heart plainly. The country-rock tradition has always made room for songs where a songwriter’s voice and a direct, unvarnished story can sit close to rock’s easy pulse; that balance gives this release a natural place in the lineage. Invitation issued it as I-1001 in the USA. There’s no need to dress the title up: its blend of eagerness and ache suggests the familiar push and pull that keeps country songwriting human, where desire and doubt can share the same line.
