Charlie Rich - I Take It On Home / Behind Closed Doors

Description
Charlie Rich brings “I Take It On Home” into the tender, plainspoken world of country song, where the biggest feelings often arrive in everyday words. The 1972 single pairs that title with “Behind Closed Doors,” another song that turns attention toward private life and the emotional weather between people. Rich was a country singer, and these selections belong to a tradition that prizes direct storytelling: a clear voice, a memorable tune, and a small human moment given room to matter. Issued in the United States on Memory Lane / Epic, catalog number 15-2336, the record keeps its focus on songs built around feeling rather than spectacle.
