Charly Mcclain - Still I Stay / If You Didn't Need Me

Description
Charly Mcclain brings “Still I Stay” into the tender, plainspoken heart of country music, where a song can hold its ground through longing and uncertainty. The genre’s strongest traditions make room for feeling without dressing it up, and this 1987 single sits comfortably in that storytelling spirit. On the flip, “If You Didn't Need Me” turns toward another question of love and dependence, giving the pairing a thoughtful emotional thread. Issued by Epic as 34-07670, the United States pressing captures two songs shaped around the intimate concerns country has always returned to: devotion, doubt, and the ties that keep people close.
