Cher - When You Find Out Where You're Goin' Let Me Know / Carousel Man

Description
Mca Records’ MCA-40324 pairs Cher with two songs that invite a little lingering: “When You Find Out Where You're Goin' Let Me Know” and “Carousel Man.” A ballad can make room for uncertainty and tenderness without rushing either away, and these titles suggest the kind of intimate storytelling that gives pop songs their staying power. Cher is a singer, and her presence here places the single in that enduring pop tradition of bringing a personal voice to a concise song. The contrast between a searching question and the image of a carousel gives the pairing a quiet narrative shape, leaving both titles open to the listener’s own reading.
