Clarence Carter - Say It One More Time / Patches

Description
Clarence Carter brings the earthy directness of soul singing to a pair of songs that turn on very different kinds of insistence. “Say It One More Time” opens the conversation with a title that asks for a return; then “Patches” shifts the focus to a name that has become part of soul’s storytelling tradition. Carter was a soul singer, and that voice-led tradition makes room for both intimacy and narrative weight without needing to dress either up. Issued in the USA on Atlantic, catalog A-19608 LY, this 7-inch single puts two distinct titles side by side, with “Patches” carrying its own lasting place in soul’s songbook.
