Con Funk Shun - Ffun / Indian Summer Love (Instrumental)

Description
Mercury’s 1977 single, catalog number 73959, puts Con Funk Shun’s “Ffun” alongside “Indian Summer Love (Instrumental).” The group works in the rich territory where funk’s rhythmic drive meets soul’s warmth, with disco’s dance-floor pulse part of the era’s wider musical conversation. “Ffun” gives the record its concise, memorable title, while the instrumental counterpart offers a different way into the same release, without needing a lyric to carry its name. In the 1970s, funk and disco often shared a love of tightly focused grooves and movement; this single sits neatly in that lively musical crossroads.
