Con Funk Shun - I Think I Found The Answer / Chase Me

Description
Con Funk Shun bring two sides of late-’70s funk and soul together on this 1979 single, with “I Think I Found The Answer” paired with “Chase Me.” The titles offer a neat contrast in mood without needing to tell the whole story: disco-era records often found their spark in the meeting of soulful expression and a groove built to keep moving. That balance gives this release its place in the lively musical conversation of the period, where funk’s rhythmic pull and disco’s dance-floor momentum could share the same moment. Issued in the United States on Mercury, catalog number 74059, it captures that era’s easy passage between styles.
