Connie Francis - Among My Souvenirs / God Bless America

Description
“Among My Souvenirs” and “God Bless America” bring a personal keepsake and a beloved patriotic song together on one Connie Francis single. Francis, a pop singer, gives this pairing a place in the long tradition of vocal music that carries familiar words and melodies from one generation to the next. The release is a 7-inch single on M-G-M, catalog K12841, pressed in the United States. Its two titles point toward different kinds of remembrance: one intimate, the other shared across a wider community. That contrast gives the record its own small story, rooted in songs that people return to and make part of their lives.
