Connie Francis - Malagueña / My Heart Has A Mind Of Its Own

Description
Mgm’s K13923 brings Connie Francis together with two very different song titles: “Malagueña” and “My Heart Has A Mind Of Its Own.” Francis was a pop singer, and this 7-inch single places her name beside music that reaches toward both Latin tradition and the intimate storytelling of the pop ballad. “Malagueña” carries a title rooted in a long-lived Spanish musical tradition, while “My Heart Has A Mind Of Its Own” speaks in the direct, personal language that has always made a good ballad feel close at hand. The contrast gives this release its character: two distinct paths into song, united by Connie Francis.
