Corbin/Hanner - Concrete Cowboy / Wild Winds

Description
“Concrete Cowboy” and “Wild Winds” bring two country-song titles together on this 1989 Mercury single, a compact reminder of how country music can make room for both the hard edges of daily life and the pull of the open road. Credited to Corbin/Hanner, the release belongs to a tradition built on memorable storytelling, where a few carefully chosen words can sketch a whole world. Mercury issued it as catalog number 878 746-7, pressed in the USA. The songs’ titles point toward contrasting images, while the shared country setting gives this pairing its place in a long conversation between work, weather, and the wide-open spaces of song.
