David Cassidy - Darlin' / Darlin'

Description
A little pop sunshine goes a long way. David Cassidy brings “Darlin’” to this 1975 Rca 7-inch, with the same title listed for both sides. The track sits where polished AM pop, pop rock and sunshine pop meet: styles built around concise songs, bright melodic shapes and an easy connection with radio listeners. Cassidy was a singer and actor, and this single keeps the focus on the singer’s side of that broad public identity. Issued in the USA as JH-10405, it belongs to a moment when pop could feel immediate without needing to be complicated; a familiar title can carry a song’s appeal all by itself.
