David Geddes - The Last Game Of The Season (A Blind Man In The Bleachers) / Wise Up Girl

Description
The pairing of “The Last Game Of The Season (A Blind Man In The Bleachers)” and “Wise Up Girl” brings two sides of David Geddes together on this 1975 soft-rock single. Geddes was a singer, and his work sits within a tradition that lets a direct vocal and a strong, memorable song carry the story. That tradition grew from pop’s knack for making everyday feelings feel close at hand, while rock gave the songs a steady, grounded pulse. Issued in the United States by Tree Records as BT-16052, this 7-inch release keeps the focus on the songs and the voice at their center—a thoughtful pairing from Geddes.
