David Houston - Thank You Teardrop / The Lady Of The Night

Description
Country songs often make room for the ache and tenderness that travel together, and David Houston brings that familiar emotional territory to “Thank You Teardrop.” Its title turns a small, human gesture into the heart of the song, while the other side, “The Lady Of The Night,” offers a second story to sit alongside it. Together, the two titles suggest country music’s gift for finding feeling in close-up details rather than grand declarations. Issued in 1973 on Epic as catalog number 5-11048, this U.S. single belongs to a tradition where a well-shaped song can carry both vulnerability and quiet resolve.
