David T. Walker - Love Vibrations / Doo Doo

Description
David T. Walker’s 7-inch single pairs “Love Vibrations” with “Doo Doo,” a compact invitation into the earthy, expressive world of funk and soul. Walker is a guitarist, and that detail makes a natural thread through a tradition where the guitar can carry a tune, answer a singer, or lock into the groove with the rhythm section. Here, the titles sit side by side on Zea Records, catalog ZEA 50005, released in the USA. Funk has always made room for both rhythmic precision and a little looseness; its pleasures often live in the way a groove keeps moving while leaving space for personality.
