Della Reese - I Cried For You / And That Reminds Me

Description
Jubilee’s 45-5292 pairs Della Reese with two standards that show how naturally jazz and pop can meet in a singer’s hands. “I Cried For You” brings the warmth of a songbook favorite, while “And That Reminds Me” offers another title to linger over; together, they make room for the expressive craft of vocal music, where a melody’s familiar shape can still feel personal. Reese was a singer, and that simple fact sits at the heart of this single: songs are carried not just by their tunes, but by the character and phrasing of the voice that delivers them. Both titles remain clearly named on the record.
