Die James Brothers - Sensationell / Cowboy Billy

Description
On one side, “Sensationell” sets the scene; on the other, “Cowboy Billy” gives the story a different name. Die James Brothers bring these two titles together on a German schlager and soundtrack single, a meeting point between popular song and the theatrical world of screen music. Schlager has long made room for direct melodies and a sense of occasion, while soundtrack songs carry the promise of a story beyond the record itself. Issued by Polydor as 24 068, this 7-inch belongs to that inviting space between stage, screen and everyday listening. Its two titles leave the listener with a neat little double bill.
