Don Williams - I Believe In You / Good Ole Boys Like Me

Description
Country music has always made room for songs that feel plainspoken without being simple, and Don Williams knew how to make that kind of storytelling linger. “I Believe In You” opens this 1980 single with a title that sounds like a promise; turn it over, and “Good Ole Boys Like Me” brings the story back to the people and ties that shape a life. The two songs sit naturally together, linked by country’s gift for finding meaning in everyday words. Issued by Mca Records as MCA-53554, this United States pressing captures a familiar country balance: warmth on one side, reflection on the other.
