Don Williams - (Turn Out The Light And) Love Me Tonight / Reason To Be

Description
Country music often finds its strongest stories in the small hours, when a plainspoken line can carry the weight of a whole evening. Don Williams brings that intimate country sensibility to “(Turn Out The Light And) Love Me Tonight,” a title that sets a scene without needing to spell out every feeling. “Reason To Be” turns the thought toward purpose, giving the other side its own quiet question. Together, the songs make a compact portrait of love and reflection, rooted in country’s gift for making private emotions feel familiar. This 1975 single pairs them on Abc Dot, catalog DOA-17568.
