Donna Summer - Cold Love / Grand Illusion

Description
Donna Summer’s 1980 single pairs “Cold Love” with “Grand Illusion,” two titles that place this release in disco’s vivid world of movement and possibility. Disco brings together a steady pulse, soul’s expressive warmth and the pleasure of a song built to carry people along; Summer’s work sits naturally within that tradition. The pairing gives this 7-inch a clear identity without needing a grand story around it: two distinct names, held together in one release from a defining era for dance music. Issued on Geffen Records as GEF 49634, it captures a moment when disco’s language was still finding new shapes.
