Donny And Marie Osmond - Take Me Back Again / Deep Purple

Description
“Take Me Back Again” opens a tender little story, while Donny And Marie Osmond turn to the enduring warmth of “Deep Purple” on the other side. The pairing draws on a familiar pop tradition: ballads that let a melody linger and give a duet room to feel personal, without losing the easy polish of soft rock. Donny And Marie Osmond bring these two songs together on Mgm Records, catalog number M 14840, a 1974 USA pressing. “Deep Purple” has traveled through generations of popular music as a standard, and its appearance here places the Osmonds’ version in that lasting conversation between intimate singing and a melody made to be remembered.
