Dorothy Lerner - Father Of This Moment / City Girl

Description
“Father Of This Moment” opens a small window onto the thoughtful, personal side of 1970s pop rock, where a songwriter could let a melody carry an intimate story without dressing it up. Dorothy Lerner is the artist at the heart of this 1974 single, and “City Girl” gives the record its companion title, adding a second point of entry into her singer-songwriter world. That tradition often finds its strength in directness: a clear tune, a human-scale subject, and room for feeling to come through. Issued in the United States on Crunch Records as CRA-018005, this single keeps Lerner’s name connected to two memorable titles.
