Dorothy Moore - Misty Blue / Here It Is

Description
Malaco Records’ 1975 single brings Dorothy Moore to the heart of a soul tradition where a voice can make longing feel close and immediate. On “Misty Blue,” she gives the title a tender weight; “Here It Is” offers a second moment with Moore at the center. Soul and rhythm & blues have long made room for songs that turn private feeling into something shared, and this 7-inch belongs to that enduring conversation. Issued as M 1029, it connects Moore’s performance with the deep emotional pull of the genre: direct, human storytelling carried by a singer’s voice.
